BEEF HASH SLIDERS

Ingredients
  • 1 lb ground grass-fed beef
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon AIP-friendly seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon nutritional yeast
  • ½ medium onion, chopped
  • ⅓ cup dried cherries, roughly chopped
  • Oil for sautéing
  • 8 AIP-friendly mini buns
  • AIP-friendly dill pickle, lettuce, onion and/or avocado for garnish (optional)
Instructions
  1. FOR THE BUNS:
  2. My suggestion is to make these first.

  4. I used a smaller sized biscuit cutter to create mini buns once baked.
  5. FOR THE MEAT:
  6. Season meat with salt, AIP-friendly seasoning and nutritional yeast. Mix well and set aside in a medium-sized bowl for at least 1 hour and up to overnight.
  7. Add finely chopped onion to an oiled pan and sauté over medium-high heat.
  8. Add ground beef to the pan and sauté until cooked through.
  9. Lower heat slightly and add cherries and continue to sauté another 3 to 5 minutes.
  10. Assemble sliders, garnish with toppings of your choice and enjoy!
