  • 8-oz box AIP-friendly orzo pasta such as the one I used in the recipe found here
  • 4-oz pesto sauce recipe here
  • 2 cloves of garlic, roughly chopped
  • Olive oil for sautéing
  • Sea salt
  • Juice of ½ lemon
  1. In a medium pot, bring approximately 3 quarts of water to boil. Be sure to salt the water.
  2. Once boiling, add pasta and boil for 14 minutes or until al dente.
  3. Drain pasta and set aside.
  4. In a separate pan, sautée garlic in olive oil over medium high heat until just browned. Season with salt.
  5. Add orzo to pan and give a quick stir into the garlic and oil.
  6. Add your pesto sauce and stir, followed by a fresh squeeze of your half lemon and salt to your preferred taste.
  7. This may be served warm or at room temperature.
  8. Enjoy!
