Place chicken wings in a bag with marinade ingredients. Massage to coat the chicken with the seasoning. Let the chicken marinate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
Once ready to cook, place your wings in the air fryer on its wings setting and cook until they reach a doneness temperature of 165°F (about 10-12 minutes on each side, flipping in between).
While the wings are cooking, prepare the wing glaze and arrowroot slurry.
In a small bowl, mix the arrowroot and water until well-combined and set aside.
In a small pot, add all remaining glaze ingredients minus the salt. Cook for 5 minutes on medium high heat.
Lower heat to cool a bit, add slurry and stir to thicken slightly. Sauce should coat the back of the spoon.
Place wings in a large bowl, pour over glaze and toss until well-coated.
Finish with salt to season as desired and enjoy!
