Bacon-Wrapped Cinnamon Apples

- 2 organic apples
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 6-8 slices bacon
- 1 tsp chopped thyme or ½ tsp dried thyme
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Prepare your apples by coring and slicing them into ½-inch pieces. Coat evenly with cinnamon in a mixing bowl.
- Slice the bacon crosswise into thirds so that the pieces are long enough to be wrapped around the apples once.
- Proceed with wrapping one slice of bacon around one apple slice, and placing seam side down on the baking sheet.
- Bake on the middle oven rack for 23-25 minutes until the apples are softened. Broil for 3 minutes until the bacon begins to caramelize.
- Let cool before serving. Secure with toothpicks if serving as a party appetizer.
