The quarterly Community Update is our chance to give you a heads up about AIP community news, podcasts, video series, and local in-person meet-up groups. If you have started a local support group on Facebook (no pages please), send the link to [email protected] and we will promote it!

Did you catch the latest AIP for IBD medical study results?

Well, it’s happened again folks!! The results of a second AIP medical study on the Autoimmune Protocol and inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn’s and ulcerative colitis) are out, published by the journal, Current Developments in Nutrition, and available for everyone to read for free! Eczema/Psoriasis AIP Medical Study is a Go! Thank You, Donors!

As you may remember, a few months ago, we announced that we’d be partnering with PhD/MD candidate, Lucy Mailing at the University of Illinois, to organize the first-ever medical study on the efficacy of AIP for eczema and psoriasis. Before we could set the wheels in motion, we needed to raise quite a bit of money to make it happen. We knew it would be a big ask, and we weren’t sure if we’d reached too far. But the community really came through for us. As always, we’re incredibly touched and grateful for your support. Keep an eye out for the study results in 2020!

AIP Meetup Groups

Find a local networking group centered around the Autoimmune Protocol! Be advised that these are not disease-specific support groups, but are to facilitate in-person networking and support for those on or considering the Autoimmune Protocol. Each group has their own moderation and rules for membership, but generally they are private and supportive of those on their healing journeys. Know that this listing does not imply endorsement by Autoimmune Paleo, groups are not run by us, and your request to join and any information you may encounter in these groups is at your own risk.

If possible, please request membership in a group local to where you live — after all, the whole idea is to get together with others in your community who are facing similar challenges! Health coaches, practitioners, online marketers, and others trying to sell their products, know that many of these groups are well moderated and solicitation will not be tolerated. If there isn’t a group near you, consider starting your own and letting us know about it on our contact page!
