Quarterly Community Update: July 2021

FB_Post#4

The quarterly Community Update is our chance to give you a heads up about AIP community news, podcasts, video series, and local in-person meet-up groups. If you have started a local support group on Facebook (no pages please), send the link to [email protected] and we will promote it!

AIP Certified Coach Begins Enrollment in August!

Calling practitioners of ALL kinds! If you’ve been looking for a way to integrate the Autoimmune Protocol into your practice, our online training is for you. The AIP Certified Coach Practitioner Training Program is for practitioners all over the natural and conventional healthcare spectrum and ensures you’re fully educated about the science behind autoimmune disease and the protocol itself so you can guide your clients or patients through transformational dietary and lifestyle interventions. Enrollment opens soon on August 25, and you can join the interest list now so you’ll have the first chance to sign up!

New Blog: Here’s What Happened When One Physician Added AIP to Her Toolkit

This recent blog post was written by Smitha Nair, M.D., board-certified Family Physician, Functional Medicine Practitioner and AIP Certified Coach who has lots of experience working with patients who have autoimmune disease. Her approach to supporting these autoimmune patients has evolved significantly throughout her career, and in her guest post, Dr. Nair tells us about the differences she’s noticed in her patients’ autoimmune health since she started incorporating AIP into her approach. It’s fascinating! Read her article here.

The Autoimmune Protocol Reintroduction Cookbook

In Kate Jay’s new cookbook, The Autoimmune Protocol Reintroduction Cookbook, she presents a collection of over 100 recipes that are compliant for every stage of reintroduction on the Autoimmune Protocol. This is a unique approach, as there are now dozens of cookbooks offering recipes for the elimination phase, but Kate’s offering here is one of the few books that actually includes recipes designed specifically for the task of reintroducing foods! Check out what we love about the book here.

Want to Be Featured on Our Blog?

Right now, we’re looking for contributors to our Kitchen Tour series where you give us a glimpse of your AIP kitchen and tell us how you’ve adapted your home and lifestyle to AIP. Participating is really fun and a great way to inspire and encourage new AIPers. We’d love to feature you! Click here to fill out our interest form.

AIP Meetup Groups

Find a local networking group centered around the Autoimmune Protocol! Be advised that these are not disease-specific support groups, but are to facilitate in-person networking and support for those on or considering the Autoimmune Protocol. Each group has their own moderation and rules for membership, but generally they are private and supportive of those on their healing journeys. Know that this listing does not imply endorsement by Autoimmune Paleo, groups are not run by us, and your request to join and any information you may encounter in these groups is at your own risk.

If possible, please request membership in a group local to where you live — after all, the whole idea is to get together with others in your community who are facing similar challenges! Health coaches, practitioners, online marketers, and others trying to sell their products, know that many of these groups are well moderated and solicitation will not be tolerated. If there isn’t a group near you, consider starting your own and letting us know about it on our contact page!
